PHILIPPINES
OUR IMPACT / PHILIPPINES
The population of the Philippines, one of Asia’s most disaster-exposed islands, is roughly 109.5 million. With that many people living in an area so greatly impacted by natural disasters, we knew that All For One could really make an impact there, specifically in Manila and Iloila.
In 2013, All For One Foundation partnered with CARE to help with disaster relief efforts in Iloilo, the Philippines, after the devastating impact of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda).
Our partnership helped the community rebuild homes, schools, and daycare centers and helped to re-establish livelihoods by providing fishing boats.
- In 2018, 41.8% of the population in the Philippines was living below the poverty line (MPI, 2020).
- 33% of Filipino children suffer malnutrition due to hunger.
