Stephen was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa.  He was the first in his family to have a College Education. Following that he received an opportunity to move to the USA and attend College.  While in school he met Karen, his wife to be.  He graduated from BYU-Hawaii and moved to Utah to start working while Karen finished her last semester of schooling in Hawaii. 

Stephen and Karen were married in the Utah Mount Timpanogos Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint and now have 3 children. Stephen’s wife is a professional financial controller, and a proud mother of three beautiful children

Stephen’s Employment for the LDS started while he was in Ghana where he worked at the Africa Area office of the LDS.   Stephen has since had many opportunities to work for large corporations including ACS and various positions with the LDS organization including working in the Granite Vault in Utah, Materials Management Division, Group Manager for the Department, and now the Welfare Department.

Stephen is Welfare Field Manager of the Southeast Area of the United States. He provides training, Supervision and Support to Nine Storehouse Operations and Nine Dry Packs Store Operation Centers in the Southeast. He works with the professional Store Managers, ecclesiastical Leaders across the Southeastern of United states and the established committee to assist those who serve in these operations to magnify their responsibilities as they care for the poor and needy and encourage self-reliance. Also, in times of emergency works with the cooperate heads to direct the disaster and emergency efforts. Blessing others life is a passion for Stephen.
